My trip has changed from a late October trip to a late September trip. One reason for this is I'd like to be home this year for Halloween. 2 years ago it rained on Halloween making it a not so great evening for my front lawn decorations. Then a year after that I went to Walt Disney World's Not So Scary Halloween party on October 31st and had an amazing time. There was so much to do in one night, never got to do it all! And so this year I had planned on spending Halloween at WDW again but decided since there is a new baby niece in my life I wanted to help her celebrate Halloween this year, since it being her first year where she can walk from house to house.
The other big reason for this change is WDW's Sizzling Summer Promotion where I get a free Disney Dining Plan on top of my paid vacation. Plus I get to still attend WDW's Halloween Party one night because due to popular response the Magic Kingdom has created party dates in late September.
One thing I am stil wondering about is when exactly does WDW starts decorating their theme parks & hotels for Halloween. If anyone knows when all the spooky decorations go up around the theme parks & hotels, please comment below. I'd love to find out.
The reason I ask my readers is because on the morning after October 31st, all of the Halloween decorations were gone and replaced with Christmas decor. I missed out on the other park's Halloween decor which I wanted to see quite badly. You see I had arrived at WDW on the morning of October 31st and went straight to the Magic Kingdom all day to then wake up to Christmas decor. I didn't realize it was that quick of a change!
Anyways, if you have tips regarding Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party then let me know all your secrets! Also, have any tips regarding the theme parks during this time?

I photographed this beautiful Disney Cast Member while touring the 2nd level of Disney's Yacht Club Resort. He just happened to look up just as I snapped an ariel photo. I wonder if this guy still works there, it was only last October when I took this photo. If you are headed to his hotel he'll be standing in the front of giant globe with some kind of device in his hand.
I would recommend that adults, couples, boyfriends and lovers without kids stay at this hotel rather than the more kid friendly Beach Club Resort located next door. You'll thank me when you get there.

Thanks Mike! I knew I wasn't the only gay male who adored these magical destinations! I'm a bit disappointed my memories of school trips and youthful memories regarding a theme park doesn't include Walt Disney World but rather Six Flags Over Texas. I just recently went back to SFOT and it was such a let down.
I actually can't wait for my very 1st Gay Days adventure though I'll have to wait a full year because this year's Gay Days is approaching fast and I have other plans. Why must we wait a whole year for the next event... maybe twice a year for Walt Disney World?

Every time I see Ursula in the Magic Kingdom's SpectroMagic parade I hope and wish that she'll stop to interact with me! But I'm in my 20's and she always looks for the young ones to talk to. Don't they know that we are kids at heart?
