Disneyland's Fantasmic ~ Balcony Seating View

I had to wait exactly 30 days before my selected date of July 21st to call Disneyland for Balcony Seating tickets. Now these are not free tickets people, they cost $60 bucks a head [price subject to change] and the quicker you get your tickets the better chance you have at getting front row. Why do you want front row? Well take another look at the view pictured above.

Just think of it, no dads with their kids on their shoulders, no sweating smelly people around you, no lamp post or tree blocking your view and no waiting an hour or so before the show begins. Disneyland also offers Premium seating but those seats are on the left side of the picture close to the Haunted Mansion. I have no idea what the view is like there. They are also $60 bucks [price subject to change].

So... I had to call Disneyland at exactly the time the phone lines for Fantasmic opened and I was dialing at least 2 minutes before the lines opened. I kept getting the "We're not open right now" message and kept hanging up and re-dialing until I got someone.

Just in case you didn't know, Fantasmic has 2 showings, depending on the season and dates, that usually are 9:00 pm and 10:30 pm [times subject to change]. I choose 10:30pm because I wanted the option of viewing the Disneyland fireworks without rushing from the 9:00 pm Fantasmic show. Crowds after Fantasmic are crazy!

Okay so when I got someone on the phone I quickly said "Fantasmic Balcony Seating, 2 Tickets, 10:30 pm" and that was it. I gave her my payment information and we chatted while she processed my card and then I had tickets. No confirmation number was given as I was told to go to Disneyland to pick up my tickets in person with the card that I used to purchase them.

Walt Disney World shows and resturants usually give out confirmation numbers but Disneyland doesn't work that way.

Check back Thursday the 10th for part 2 of my Fantasmic experience with more photos to be added.
