Disneyland's Fantasmic ~ Balcony Seating View

And now to continue with my Fantasmic Balcony View Experience report.

Okay so the time in the park was about 9:30 pm on a Friday night and I was on my way to the Fantasmic Balcony Viewing area. I was told to go up to the Disney Gallery located on top of Disneyland's Pirates of the Carribbean ride. When I got there I walked up the long staircase and entered the gallery. From there I was told to wait in the patio waiting area in the back.

To my surprise there was about 15 people already waiting! I thought I'd be the first one coming about an hour before the 10:30pm showing but alas I was not. I took a seat and waited. Finally after some time had passed a Cast Member took all of our tickets and told us that we would be seated by the time of purchase meaning whoever bought their tickets first over the phone were the first to be seated... thus meaning FRONT ROW!

I figured I was the first since I was calling minutes before the lines even opened and while everyone was buying tickets for the 9 pm showing I was getting tickets for the 10:30 pm showing. And then it all paid off. I was called first by name and was directed to my seat in the front freakin' row. Nothing in my way. No other balcony seat holders in my way, just me and a clear view of the entire stage area of Fantasmic!

Soon a friendly Cast Member approached me and asked what I would like to drink. I choose Coke and she brought me a glass but since the weather was so hot that the ice melted in less than 2 minutes. Then I was told the buffet table behind me was self serve and up I went to get my refreshments. There was cake, all kinds of desserts, cheese and crackers, fruits and just a nice spread of great food that was free and included with the price of the seats. You could eat the whole table if you wanted to.

Once I got my seat it only took a few minutes before the show began. I took out my camera and snapped a few shots but kept the LCD screen off because I was respecting the people behind me.

The show went by so quick and the exprience was over. I exited the Disney Gallery and made my way back into the park. My family members were down in the large moving crowd and told me they enjoyed their "free" view while I told them my $60 dollar view was beyond amazing and well worth it.

Next time I go I will not spend the $60 bucks again because I will take the chance of getting a closer view among the waiting crowd for "free". Well, now that I think about it I might still buy a balcony view seat just in case the crowds are crazy and just end up watching Fantasmic twice.
