Meet & Greet ~ The Queen of Gays

I captured these, well I'm going to assume they were, gay visitors taking the chance to have some photo ops with The Queen of Hearts herself. During Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party some of Disney's greatest villains gather in front of the castle to "play" with the visitors.

This group of gay men were just completely smitten with the Queen as she embraced them, even giving her hand to the fella wearing the green shirt. The boy in blue is the one that caught my full attention that led to me snapping these quick photos. This moment made me realize that I wasn't the only "family" member visiting Walt Disney World while Gay Days was held within Disneyland, California.

You see, when Micoofy Duck went to the Walt Disney World resort for some Halloween treats, gay men from across the world were gathering in Disneyland for a queer celebration. Walt Disney World has the original Gay Days which happens yearly during the early summer months. I have yet to attend either Disney Park unofficial celebration. Yes, that's right, Disney Parks does not take part of the celebration but welcomes the event.

And it just so happens that Disneyland Paris has started their own Gay Days event earlier this month. Bravo to all those men and women behind the scenes each year as they bring these yearly celebration events to the parks.

Actually the guy in the green shirt caught my eye when I looked at your trip photos. I have been down to WDW for GayDays only once. But it was fun. Would like to go again, or even head out to DL for theirs.

I just wanted to thank you Cliff for taking the time to visit Micoofy.com as well as your wonderful comments regarding my posts.

Hope you have a whimsical time on your December trip!

The boy in the blue shirt looks like a steward I had on a flight from San Francisco to Germany. It was on United. We had a nice chat. I think his name was Tom or Tim.
