The first time I rode MGM Studio's Great Movie Ride I had no idea what to expect. You walk into a lobby filled with cinema memorabilia that leads you into a large waiting room where a giant screen is playing vintage theatrical trailer after theatrical trailer. As you wait you see a handful of trailers and for some reason, me being young and queer, I noticed Singing in the Rain preview and it stuck in my mind.

So every time I revisit the Great Movie Ride I look forward to seeing that trailer bigger than life on the silver screen. Sometimes I wait for it, always letting people pass me by to get on the attraction. Once I see that trailer then I can get on the ride.
