Oh I Wanna Ride That... Over And Over Again

When I was on my recent Halloween-ish Christmas-e WDW trip we had the Disney Channel on the television, I mean if you're staying at a Walt Disney World resort you just have to check out the Disney channels because it suddenly becomes entertaining. Since it was Halloween they were promoting their newest TV series, The Wizards of Waverly Place. They promoted it nearly every hour.
I actually didn't get a chance to see the show while on vacation but just saw the promos. BUT sometime this week they had a mini marathon of the series and I Tivo'd it. I love it. The show's star, Selena Gomez, is brillant casting and she sings the very catchy theme song "Everything is Not What it Seems". This young actress is going to be a star, no doubt about that. She IS the reason why I'm watching. But then again there's another reason.
Her adorable wizard brother, played by David Henrie [now 18 years old and perfectly fine to be featured here on a gay blog filled with Disney Princes] is quite the looker on the show. He plays Selena's 16 year old brother and deals with learning magic as a teenager as well as tackling social problems such as having his first heterosexual kiss. Yuck.
Now the reason I'm writing about this show and this episode featured above is because it was the first episode I saw of the show AND the opening situation reminded me of my high school days... same awkward locker situation, a jock asking for my help, keeping it secret that he wanted to learn stuff from me... I don't know, it's just funny how some shows suddenly remind you of your own past experiences. I guess I connected with the show and now assume there are gay writers on staff because this is just a gay fantasy that every gay high school student has had nearly every day of the school year.
Anyway, the series is addicting and fun to watch. Tivo it and enjoy it. Once again Selena Gomez is going to be a star, hopefully leaving the Disney Channel behind soon and moving into Romantic Comedies on the silver screen.

The lights don't dance non stop throughout the night. They do have some very relaxing breaks in between the "shows".
Oh how I miss those lights. And the kids crying in the background. And the loud snow machines.

I like what you're all about.

And what's that!?!?! He's cheating on Snow White with... with... THE EVIL QUEEN!

That's so cute that this visual effect found inside MGM Studios has attracted his full attention.

Yep, he's definitely got too many years under his belt to be pulling off an Abercrombie sleeveless tee... it must be his Halloween costume. It just has to be.
Yep, they already started filming for the Walt Disney Christmas Day Parade TV Special Thing. After 2 sequels and seeing the MGM Studio's live High School Musical show I'm finally, FINALLY starting to get addicted to the songs. FINALLY!
Oh and apparently Zac Efron wasn't there at Disneyland... maybe he was filming at Walt Disney World and the show will mix both theme park performances together. Maybe Zac is just too big a star for a Disneyland performance...

Thanks to bad lighting and my old camera we'll never really know...

Just please remember to Always Take The Time To Look At Your Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Park Map. Know where you're going before you head there. In doing this you will not put yourself in a position where your family/party may fight and/or argue about meaningless bullshit while in the happiest kingdom on earth. I said kingdom, not "place", freakin' [loveable, huggable] purists.

After seeing Disneyland's candy corn explosion over at Disney's California Adventure and seeing candy corns sprinkled around the Magic Kingdom... Well now I hate HATE Candy Corns! Hate 'em!
But I still love Mickey!

Yep, Micoofy Duck is back from another great memorable trip to The Magic Kingdom's & Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! Still unpacking and getting that beautiful musky Flordia scent off me and my clothes. I will get back to updating starting tomorrow! Until then have a magical day!
