How "Low" Can You Go In Epcot's Japan's Pavilion

Farewell Spaceship Earth Theatre Gays I "Connected" With

As many of you are aware Epcot's Spaceship Earth has been going under a rebirth of some kind where the guts and glory of the once infamous ride of boredom to kids is now being updated with all new animatronics, new scenes, new effects, new audio narrator [James Bond's boss] and new technology that will bring Micoofy Duck's all time favorite ride into the new future of Disney theme park attractions.

Everytime I take family member and friends to the Walt Disney World resort my tradition is to get them to ride Spaceship Earth first before anything else. If it is their first time to ride any Disney attraction ever in their life then Spaceship Earth is the perfect first time attraction they can fall in on love with. My "tradition" seems to work every time because everyone wants to either ride it again or ride it once before their vacation is over. They almost become a little bit obsessed with it, like I am.

Well, one of the scenes that me, Gay as a May Rainbow Morning Micoofy Duck, "connected" with on the ride was the 2 Gayish boys learning about culture and art. You can see them pictured above. Most likely the butt of the straight guy jokes but I never saw them as a threat to my manhood. I wonder what type of Epcot heaven they are in now. I'm betting some filthy rich Epcot Gay fan has bought them and displaying them in his house that maybe features a collection of things yesteryear of Disney rides and attractions.

Farewell Spaceship Earth Culture Clash Boys who are no longer one of Micoofy.com's Hidden Gays.

En El Memoriam De Christina

It's a good thing I took some not so great quality photos of Epcot's Mexcio Pavilion ride El Rio de Tiempo. Here is one of the visuals you will no longer see when you take a ride through the now deceased River of Time. I still don't agree with the new toon changes on the ride and I still wish they would have just updated the ride with a new modern Mexcio look rather than an attempt to get more kids in the damn boats.

And who's Christina?

Epcot ~ World Showcase Bridge

Notice the average Disney Park visitors in the photo above as they wait in frustration... that's because none of them had any idea that the World Showcase bridge was going to lift up blocking them from getting to their Epcot destinations.

My party was among the many park visitors who were told to wait as a very slow moving boat filled with Illuminations props passes by into the large lagoon for the show later tonight. I was told the bridge comes up a few times during the day to allow several boats through and that sometimes the wait can last as long as 25 minutes.

The bridge itself is located just between the China pavilion and the Germany pavilion. I did notice an angry woman complain to the Cast Member behind the steel gate get an ear full because she was going to be late for her lunch reservation for the San Angel Inn inside the Mexico pavilion. What the hell, was this Cast Member going to bring the bridge down just for her so she can make her lousy appointment that can easily be rescheduled?

People, please don't expect everything to go your way while visiting at a Disney Park. Mickey happens. If you find yourself late for an appointment then don't worry because the employees at that resturant will understand that you, the average park visitor, can be late due to situations/events that are sometimes out of your control.

I was also told this bridge problem only happens during the middle of the day. If you find yourself in this situation then check out some nearby shops or take a seat and just relax.

Epcot ~ The Maelstrom Leisure

A great place to get off your feet while visiting Epcot is a single bench just in front of the Maelstrom attraction located just inside the Norway Pavilion. Once seated here you've got a stimulating visual show just to your right as the boats from the Maelstrom ride make appearances just above the waterfall. You've also got the scents and smells of a nearby Norwegian bakery. If you plan this rest spot perfectly you'll get your bakery treat first and then hopefully catch the bench when no one is around. Look for this on your next trip.
